Cameron Vision For Tomorrow Better

Founded the Juvenile Intervention and Mental Health Court (JIMH), launched in January 2021 to service youth with mental health issues in the Fort Bend County Juvenile Justice System.

• The creation of JIMH was unanimously approved by the Fort Bend County Commissioners Court on December 8, 2020.
• Received support from County Court at Law Judges, Juvenile Probation, Texana, professional providers, and the local interfaith community (Minaret Foundation, Ft Bend Transformation Church, and the Fort Bend Interfaith Community).
• Aimed at rehabilitation and reducing recidivism for vulnerable youth.

Launched the Kitchen to the Courthouse program for high-school girls in conjunction with Chef Roshini Guarani and the India Culture Center.

• The program introduced young women to influential female leaders in various industries.
• Aimed to draw parallels between the historical male domination of the restaurant industry and the legal field.
• Had approximately 30 participants.

Created the Chai and Chat Series and various social events to introduce the courts and legal system to the general public.

• Aimed to make the legal system more user-friendly and reduce fear, especially among first and second-generation Americans.

Provided internship opportunities to students from high schools, colleges, and law schools.

Collaborated with Fort Bend ISD Leadership Academy to allow high school students to visit and learn about the judiciary and its functions.

Served as a Speaker at various schools, churches, and organizations across the US, including the Fort Bend ISD Leadership Academy, FOMAA, FOKANA, and Exchange Clubs, on the courts and legal system.

A Founding Member of the Lone Star Exchange Club.
